Travel time less ‘SWIFT’ as trees block the South Coast Line

Southern Illawarra Swifties planning to use public transport to get to Sydney this weekend are advised to allow more time, with buses replacing trains between Bomaderry and Wollongong stations.

Several trees are blocking the line near Berry, with crews working to restore services as quickly as possible – it’s unclear at this stage when trains will be back up and running.

Limited replacement buses are operating between Bomaderry, Kiama and Wollongong.

A total of more than 1,200 extra public transport services will run across the four nights of Taylor Swift’s Era’s Tour. This includes more than 700 extra buses and 550 extra trains.

Tay Tay Express Train Services will run from Central to Olympic Park every 8 minutes until 10:30pm then every 5 minutes until 01:00am.
