The Kiama Arts Trail

The Kiama Arts Trail Open Weekend is a fantastic event that takes you through some of the most picturesque and beautiful countryside in Australia to visit award winning artist studios, galleries and cafes.

Entry to each of these venues is free!

Open the first weekend of each month and by appointment, the Kiama Arts Trail is filled to the brim with creative wonders. You’ll see work in a wide variety of techniques and styles. Drawings, paintings, photographs, prints and sculpture as well as jewellery are on display, some of it award-winning.

Follow the trail from Albion Park through Kiama and down to Foxground.

See the artists at work, meet them and discover the stories behind the artworks themselves. You also get to taste test the fantastic cafes along the trail, many of which also feature local work.

The Trail

First of all, visit Callemondah Studios, set in wonderful countryside villa, before heading to Olivia Alexander Fine Art Studio to see some renowned applications of Mixed Media Painting.

The Jeanette Riley Studio Gallery hosts some truly breathtaking oil, acrylic and watercolours by local artists in Oak Flats, before you move on to the Kiama Art Gallery which features a fantastic selection of local Australian art as well as some from European collections.

Aspiration Images in Kiama features some incredible photography and Love Street Gallery hosts the works of Helen Pain.

Rose Jewellery Designs is the perfect spot to find something completely unique or perhaps a Christmas gift that will catch your eye, as the custom stone based jewellery glints in the light.

Finally, there’s the Cedar Ridge Studio which features work from Robyn Sharp, incredible drawings, paintings, sculpture and collage.
